PETROSOL Platinum Energy is a privately-owned, ISO-certified Ghanaian Oil Marketing Company, known in the petroleum downstream industry for our commitment to service excellence, professionalism and industry best practice.
Our product lines include Gasoline (Petrol), Gas Oil (Diesel), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Fuel Oils and Lubricants. We operate 109 fuel stations across the country and directly supply bulk corporate consumers of petroleum products.
We're licensed by the industry regulator, the National Petroleum Authority, and our operations are registered with the Ghana Investment Promotion Authority and the Environmental Protection Authority.

Our story
PETROSOL began as a consultancy advising Ghanaian operators in a newly deregulated downstream sector. Nearly two decades on, it is one of the country's ten largest oil marketing companies, still wholly Ghanaian-owned.
2006
Petroleum Solutions Limited begins in Accra, advising Ghanaian operators entering a newly deregulated downstream sector.
2010
A management contract with Pacific Oil Ghana, guiding them to their own licence, and growing them from 5 stations to 46 by 2013.
2013
The National Petroleum Authority licenses PETROSOL to procure, store, distribute and sell petroleum products in its own right.
2014
Trading starts in February with four fuel stations, and the tagline that still defines the brand: clean fuel in full quantity.
2019
PETROSOL Platinum Lubricants launches, adding engine, hydraulic and industrial oils to the product range.
2021
Quality, environmental and occupational health & safety management systems all certified to international standard.
2024
A rebrand marking the shift from oil marketing alone to broader, more sustainable energy solutions. Ten years as an OMC.
2025
Conversion to a PLC, strengthening corporate governance, transparency and the ability to attract long-term investment.
